Bhopal Gas Tragedy
In 1984, more then 40 tons of methyl isocyanate gas was leaked from a pesticide plant in Bhopal, India, immediately started killing over 500,000 people in the small towns around the plant were exposed to the highly toxic gas methyl isocyanate .

It spilt out from Union Carbide India Ltd’s (UCIL’s) pesticide factory which turned the city of Bhopal into a colossal gas chamber. It was India’s first major industrial disaster. As per Indian court the main accused of this incident was Warren Anderson but that time he left the India and after some days died due to natural causes.
